2 Things To Do When Selling Digital Products Online

My fellow hustlers! Today, we’re gonna talk about the most important things I think you should do when it comes to selling your own digital products online!

Now this advice comes from my personal experience of selling both physical and digital products online for the past 4 years, so make sure to take notes because these simple tips could help you save time and also make more money in your business.

First things first: WE ALL FAIL! But some of us need to learn from it and move on!

Ever heard the saying: Fail fast, learn faster? Well, that’s exactly what you are going to need to do moving forward, because failing is inevitable! 

And failing doesn’t mean:

• you suck
• you’re stupid 
• no one likes your product
• give up and never try again
• it was all a waste of time…

All that failure is trying to do is: TEACH YOU! 

It’s trying to teach you: 

• What went wrong 
• Why it went wrong 
• How you could improve 
• What not to do again 
• How to let it go 
• How to grow 
• How to make it better! 

So, instead of dwelling on the failures you had, which isn’t going to do much for you, focus on what you learned, implement the necessary changes and then focus on moving forward and not making the same mistake again! 

Because here’s what’ll happen if you don’t:

• You’ll waste valuable time that you could be using to be productive!
• Start to second guess yourself, which leads to insecurities & doubt! 
• You’ll start to think of quitting, and most times you actually will! 

And that is not what we want! I want you to fail, get back up, fail again, and keep moving forward 🙂  Sounds easy enough, right?! RIGHT ! LOL 

Now that doesn’t mean that moving on will always be easy, because I know the fear of failure is also another thing that can get in the way and can be paralyzing,but let me tell you something – it’s better to be criticized for taking action than to be ignored for doing nothing. Remember, the haters will always hate, but your true supporters will respect your authenticity and willingness to put yourself out there, so focus your energy on those who will support you & just put yourself out there 🙂 ! 

Now let’s talk about another subject that is almost as important, if not the most important thing, you’ll need to do if you want to embrace growth & if you want to see progress and that is by…

BEING CONSISTENT!

Consistency is king in the digital space! So, make a commitment to post regularly, even if you think your content isn’t perfect. Trust me, nobody starts as an expert, but with each post, you learn, you improve, and you get closer to understanding what works best for your audience.

Now, I’m not saying you should throw just anything out there and hope for the best…. No, sirybob! You still gotta make sure that your product has VALUE! But what I don’t want you to do is dwell too much on it being perfect! JUST POST THE DAMN THING AND SEE HOW IT GOES! 

If it goes well = AWESOME SAUCE

If it doesn’t go that well = NOT SO AWESOME SAUCE, but you can adjust! 

You can never fully predict what will resonate with your audience until you put it in front of them. SO PUT IT IN FRONT OF THEM CONSISTENTLY!!! And hey, sometimes the imperfect, raw, and unfiltered stuff connects on a level that no slick production ever could. By consistently posting and learning from your audience’s response, you’ll start to spot patterns, see what works, and what doesn’t. 

This iterative process is where true growth happens! You refine your approach, tweak your content, and adjust your strategy based on real-time data and you should start to see a difference in your business and in your sales. 

So, my friends, let’s recap: you are going to fail, and you are going to need to get over it as quickly as possible! 

Chasing perfection is again: A WASTE OF TIME, so stop trying to make the perfect product and instead focus on : 

• Taking Action
• Posting New Listings
• And Embrace The Learning Process!

And if you want to see better results in your business, an increase in your numbers, more followers, more sales, more of literally whatever it is that you are looking for….. 

YOU NEED TO BE THE MOST CONSISTENT PERSON YOU HAVE EVER MET IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!!! 

Remember: you are not only competing against other sellers, but you are also competing against an ALGORITHM! So give the algorithm what it wants, which is more products & more content! 

Seriously though, all the success and things that you are longing for are on the other side of your consistency, so keep showing up, even when you aren’t quite getting the results you are looking for.
